The stato-reactor includes an input for the air together with at least one fuel injector. There is a body in which fuel and air are mixed in order to be burnt, with a gas channel carrying the products of this combustion. This body includes one wall with articulated sections (12) joined by hinge elements (13). At the point at which the articulated sections join, there is a pipe (22) enabling a fluid to flow through (Pi, Pc). A surface (19) is attached to one particular section whilst it maintains contact with the next section. This arrangement ensures the circulation of a cooling fluid whilst the sections are able to move relative to each other. The articulated section are moved under the control of a computer.
