The present invention relates to a process for producing a carbon-carbon (C) conjugate of a conjugated diene component of a block copolymer having a polymer block (A) composed mainly of a vinyl aromatic compound in one molecule and a polymer block (B) composed mainly of a conjugated diene compound A hot-melt adhesive composition containing an epoxy-modified block copolymer epoxidized with a double bond, a paraffin wax having a melting point of 40 to 100C, a tackifier and an antioxidant.;The hot-melt adhesive composition of the present invention has an epoxy group which is a polar group in the molecule, and therefore has good compatibility with the paraffin wax and the tackifier. In addition, since an epoxy-modified block copolymer and a paraffin wax are combined as a base polymer, they have excellent heat resistance and cold resistance, and have high heat resistance despite low melt viscosity.
