ALARM SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING VIOLATION OF CENTRAL LINE AND TRAFFIC LANE OF HIGHWAY

PURPOSE: A device or means for preventing violation of a central line and a traffic lane of a highway is not equipped for a conventional car, so that traffic accidents or accident falls, owing to careless driving, sleepiness driving, violation of the central line, or violating the traffic lane, are occurred frequently. These accidents brings losses of lives and properties. CONSTITUTION: An alarm system according to the present invention comprises a projection unit projecting a beam of light being close to natural light into forward areas of two front wheels, a color detecting unit composed of a light receiving unit including a color sensor for detecting color of reflected light from the ground, a received light amplifying unit amplifying the signal corresponding to the detected color, a sensitivity control unit controlling sensitivity of the signal from the received light amplifying unit, a timer unit adjusting the sensitivity of the signal from the sensitivity control unit, and an alarm unit generating an alarm signal in response to the signal from the timer unit. The alarm system detects whether the wheel in the direction of the driver violates a central line of a highway. If so, the alarm system generates the alarm signal to prevent the accidents. In addition, the alarm system detects whether the front wheel violates a white or a yellow traffic lane of the highway. If so, the alarm system generates the alarm signal to prevent the accidents. Therefore, traffic accidents or accident falls can be prevented.
