CAR RECOGNITION METHOD USING KOREAN NUMBER BAR CODE FOR CAR REGISTRY NUMBER MARK

PURPOSE: A car recognition method is provided to enhance a mark method and improve a recognition rate of a car registry number. CONSTITUTION: Irrespective of a black bar or a white space, bar code bits as many as white spaces are marked to have a relatively wide width and the bar code bits as many as black spaces is marked to have a relatively narrow width, defining wideness and narrowness of each bar code bit as bit '1' and bit '2', respectively. A Korean alphabet and number bar code system, which is made by forcing combined unit bar code columns to correspond to Korean vowels and consonants or numbers which are different each other, respectively, is used to scan and recognize a target car to which a car registry number bar code adheres using a bar code scanner, and to inquire the recognized car registry number, searching car information related to the target car and using the system to provide various car information service such as a car tax service. Therefore, it is possible to increase convenience of parking fare account, parking car restriction, tollgate entrance, and road using efficiency, and economically provide effective car information service.
