PURPOSE: A doctor blade for a picture forming apparatus is to restrict a thickness of a developing layer covered on a developing roller as a certain height. CONSTITUTION: A doctor blade for a picture forming apparatus comprises the steps of: (130) processing a base metal with a metal material capable of contacting on a developing roller; (S140) performing a grit blaster process of the contact surface of the base metal; performing a thermal coating of the contact surface; abrading the contact surface to be the thermal coating; (S150) processing a masking of both sides of the contact surface; and (S150) processing a grit blaster of the contact surface. Thereby, an abrasion of the both sides of the developing roller is prevented.
