PURPOSE: An orthosis tights is provided to exert on the abdomen a substantially constant pressure, combined with a vascular compression on the lower members by the leg portions during the postpartum period. CONSTITUTION: An orthosis like a resilience tights comprises a compressive knitted ventral portion (1) and two adjoining leg portions (2) also compressively knit. A high resilient piece of cloth is provided to a substantially triangular region with increased resilience (4) extending between the waist and the groins. The region with increased resilience can be formed by adding a piece of cloth with reinforced two-dimensional resilience, or by a knitted resilient reinforcing piece.
