PURPOSE: An ascent and descent bed is provided, which has a hydraulic device and adjustable wire, a mattress is lifted up to a ceiling and a bed frame vertically lifted is used of a bookshelf and a desk, can be easily restored to former state by operating hydraulic pump, and is to make the utmost use of indoor space. CONSTITUTION: To elevate a mattress and make a lower bed frame stand vertically, ahydraulic spindle by operating a hydraulic pump pushes the frame and a support, the support is fixed reaching the bottom and the frame is pushed back, and the frame is stood with the bottom frame reaching the bottom by loads connecting the frame and the support. The mattress is lifted up at a level with the bottom by the power of pulling wires which connects rods and the end of the mattress so when the frame moves, the wires is also pulled, and then the hydraulic operation is stopped. A desk is used by pulling forward a flat board(14) of the lower frame, setting up with a central adjusting pin(13), fixing pushing into between adjusting pins for angle(12-12C) according to using angle and adjusting the height of desk by fixing an adjusting pin for height(13) into grooves(13A-13C) fixed with five levels.
