System and method for approving and managing card dealings using internet

PURPOSE: A system and a method are to identify whether credit card-based transactions are approved or not at lower cost and to curtail the service charge for the VAN(value added network) company. CONSTITUTION: A server computer(40) sends a credit card number and transactions data inputted from an affiliated credit card store(22,24,26) to a credit card clearinghouse. The server computer delivers credit card-based transactions data to a credit card company(50), debit card-based transactions data to a public financial network(60), and reserves card-based transactions data to a reserve card company(70) over an internet(30) using TCP/IP protocol. When the card companies and the public financial network receive the signal requesting for card-based transactions approval, they search their respective data bases and identify the validity and expiration date of the credit card, sending them to the server computer. The server computer then displays the validity and the expiration date for the credit card of a card holder on a display of a client computer of the affiliated credit card store.
