PURPOSE: A steering gear is provided to change the rotational power of an input shaft to the right and left straight movement of a rack bar, to give the straight forward driving performance by making a steering wheel heavier in a neutral state on right and left sides by forming a ring gear contacting with the rack bar and to reduce the torque of the steering wheel. CONSTITUTION: A sun gear(61) is integrally formed on an input shaft(6), three planetary gears(8) are butted on the circumference. An outer circumferential gear of a ring gear(9) is butted on the rack bar, and the three planetary gears are butted on an inner circumferential gear of the ring gear. Herein, when a driver turns a steering wheel, power is transmitted to the input shaft, and if the input shaft rotates, the planetary gear is rotated by the rotation of the sun gear. The ring gear rotates since the planetary gear is butted on the inner circumferential gear of the ring gear. Accordingly, a steering action is performed since the rack bar straightly moves toward the right and left sides according to the rotational direction of the ring gear.
