METHOD FOR INTERLOCKING ARP SERVER AND INTERNET SERVER IN IPOA

PURPOSE: A method for interlocking ARP server and internet server in an IPOA(Internet Protocol Over ATM) is provided to facilitate the offer of an IP service in ATM, by connecting two servers having an ARP(Address Resolution Protocol Server) server function in one IPOA network. CONSTITUTION: By a method for interlocking ARP server and internet server in an IPOA(Internet Protocol Over ATM), an internet server(10) and an ARP(Address Resolution Protocol Server) server(30) having an ARP server function are connected in one IPOA network(20). The IPOA network includes an internet server using a card with a feasible AARP server function. In the IPOA network, the ARP server applies an ARP response signal as to an ARP request signal from the corresponding internet server to the corresponding internet server, and thus the corresponding internet server and the ARP server are connected. Therefore, IP server is provided smoothly on the ATM.
