PURPOSE: An apparatus for integrative operational management of synchronous optical transport and a method therefore are provided to enable concentrated application management and real time application monitoring of synchronous optical transports by replacing application terminal function by kind with integrated application terminal. CONSTITUTION: A work station part(21) analyzes and processes data by integratively monitoring synchronous optical transports(11,12,13) in a telephone office. A communication part(22) performs an interface between the work station part(21) and the synchronous optical transports(11,12,13). An alarm output part(23) outputs an alarm by the synchronous optical transports(11,12,13) and an obstruction item after receiving the data analyzed and processed by work station part(21).
