PURPOSE: A method for preparing dielectric ultra-fine powder for electroluminescence cell is provided, which is able to provide a large quantity of ultra-fine, highly pure dielectric powder having particle size of about nanometer. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) preparing a mixture solution of Ba-nitrate and Ti-alkoxide; (ii) adding 2-5 mol of glycine or a mixture fuel of glycine and urea to 1 mol of Ba-nitrate and Ti-alkoxide mixture solution and Ti-alkoxide; (iii) after evaporating alcohol and distilled water by heating the solution of step (iii) with stirring, transferring it to pre-heated reacting device and then heating the reacting device until the alcohol and distilled water being evaporated completely to cause spontaneous combustion reaction; and (iv) heat-treating the step (iii) at a temperature of 600-800C to eliminate the remained carbon and non-burned materials.
