PURPOSE: A method for selling merchandise coupons, a settlement method and a system using mobile communication terminals are provided to conveniently purchase merchandise coupons using mobile communication terminals. CONSTITUTION: A user connects with an internet network(3) through a terminal(1) such as a personal computer. Also, the user connects with the internet network(3) through a mobile communication terminal(2) such as a cellular phone, a PCS terminal, a PDA terminal, etc., via a mobile communication network(4). A merchandise coupon server(5) in charge of processing for the sale and usage of merchandise coupons is connected with the internet network(3) and a merchandise coupon database(7) storing information for merchandise coupons respectively. The merchandise coupon server(5) is connected with an internet shopping mall server(6) to process the case that a user uses the merchandise coupon in on-line, such as an internet shopping mall.
