GEOGRAPHIC MODELER FOR 3D GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A number of software exist 3D Geographic Information System (GIS), but it is still difficult to visualize these 3D GIS elements using the VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language). Especially, the technology to produce VRML nodes from the VGFF (Virtual GIS File Format) do not exist at all. CONSTITUTION: A geographic modeler reads each field of building-box geometric element, building-conic geometric element, building-injection geometric element, river-border geometric element, road geometric element, pipe geometric element, geographical altitude geometric element, which are defined by the VGFF (Virtual GIS File Format). The geographic modeler generates building-box modeler, building-conic modeler, building-conic modeler, building-injection modeler, river-boundary modeler, road modeler, pipe modeler and geographical altitude modeler that produce VRML's box nodes, conic nodes, cylinder nodes, injection nodes and high value lattice nodes.
