KEYBOARD FOR RAPID WRITING OF CHINESE DOCUMENTS

PURPOSE: A keyboard for rapid writing of Chinese document is provided to raise inputting speeds for writing out simplified Chinese document, by adopting a simultaneous inputting system, and by using short keys for common vocabularies, prefixes, and suffixes utilized when the simplified Chinese documents are written out. CONSTITUTION: A keyboard for rapid writing of Chinese document comprises a key input circuit, a rapid writing short key memory(120), and a controller(122). The key input circuit has a common vocabulary key group, a prefix/suffix key group, a normal key group, and a rapid writing key. The common vocabulary key group inputs common vocabularies, prefixes, and suffixes which China codes are 5 to 6, frequently utilized in simplified Chinese characters with each short key. The normal key group inputs normal keys instead of the short keys. The rapid writing key designates a rapid writing key mode. The rapid writing short key memory stores scan codes for the common vocabularies/the prefixes/the suffixes. The controller reads a scan code corresponding to a key of the common vocabulary key group from the rapid writing short key memory, when the key of the common vocabulary key group is inputted. The controller reads a scan code corresponding to a key of the prefix key group or a key of the suffix key group. The controller combines the scan code for the prefix or the suffix key group key with a scan code of a normal key. The controller simultaneously outputs a make key and a break key, when each key is pressed and returned to an original position by a user. Scan codes corresponding to keys for the common vocabulary key group, the normal key, the prefix/the suffix keys are generated when the rapid writing key is pressed. The scan codes are supplied to a personal computer(PC).
