COOLER FOR SUDDENLY COOLING STEEL STRIP IN TIN MELTING PROCESS OF ELECTRICALLY TIN PLATING EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: A cooler is provided to equally cool the upper face and the lower face of a tin plated steel strip, to adjust relative current velocity and to adjust a cooling start point. CONSTITUTION: A cooler has an opposite current velocity channel(4) forming in a partition shape so that cooling water from the cooler is not affected by cooling water flux in a cooling water tank(2). The cooler equally cools the front and rear face of a steel strip(1). Also, a nozzle(3) sprays cooling water flowing along a channel so that current distribution is regular in a width direction. Temperature of cooling water keeps different from temperature of the cooling water tank by a heat exchanger. Thereby, thickness of the tin plated steel strip and cooling condition are variously applied.
