Purpose: a kind of method is arranged to an inquiry table of output quantity of the completion for a magnetic induction sensor, is used to sensor values is converted to a unknown sample by using two various criterion sample compensation look-up-tables the thickness of one true coating. Construction: according to the output voltage of the thickness of a coating magnetic induction sensor complete for an inquiry table. Inquiry table uses two master samples with known thickness to compensate by it. The last thickness of the one of coating is calculated by using the inquiry table of compensation. When a non-magnetic material is painted on a magnetic material, a central processing unit of the memory of low cost and a low capacity is used to measure the thickness of coating. Therefore, when obtaining a precise value, production cost is reduced.
