Purpose a: device, for detecting the rupture of an all-steel cord in a steel cord converor belt, it is arranged to prevent to reduce the rupture due to all-steel cord in terms of the service life of band and operation failure, by detecting whether that all-steel cord is broken in the band using the non-contact type magnetic coil pickoff using a u shaped core. Construction: one is applied to an excitation coil (3) from the exciting signal that exciting power supply (2) generates to generate a magnetic flux, it is used to be attached, the all-steel cord (1) in a steel cord converor belt of a lower part of a return belt of conveyer belt. The magnetic flux generated in excitation coil (3) is by a u shaped core (5) examined all-steel cord (1) and constructs a magnetic flux closed-circuit.
