PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing a slab of a two-phase stainless steel is provided to prevent a sigma phase in continuous casting and to enhance yield and productivity of products by omitting more than 24 times of grinding processes. CONSTITUTION: In manufacturing a two-phase stainless steel through continuous casting, the specific amount in secondary cooling is reduced only at a range of 800-1000C. Thus, the cooling speed is raised and a sigma phase is formed within a range of 1mm for the thickness of a slab. The cooling speed rises up to 400C by regulating the specific amount down to 0.33l/kg.
