PURPOSE: An apparatus for preparing active carbon and poroligenous liquor is provided, to save the energy, to reduce the area occupied by the apparatus and the amount of exhaust gas, and to improve the productivity and quality of active carbon. CONSTITUTION: A apparatus for preparing active carbon and poroligenous liquor are vertical. The apparatus for preparing active carbon comprises a duct (20) which delivers the first heat generated at a burner (15) into the duct (20) through a line (40) to distribute the indirect heat homogeneously. The combustion gas generated after the production of active carbon is delivered to the apparatus for preparing poroligenous liquor through a line (40). The combustion gas which is exhausted through a line (40) is collected at a heat collector (55) and absorbed into the apparatus for preparing active carbon through a line (40).
