摘要

PURPOSE: An invention of international phonetic signs helps out nation who live in the international ages to practice an english conversation effectively, contributes to a popularization of the Korean language to the world, and can be used in the research where a computer recognizes voices usefully. CONSTITUTION: English pronunciation which is mostly similar to Korean consonants and vowels are selected, and corresponded to them. Then we mark new English phonetic signs in Korean type symbolizing a principle of the English pronunciation corresponding to each Korean alphabet. To complement the differences between Korean marking rule and English marking rule, we use phonetic signs having special functions. The signs represents the shape of our mouth when we pronounce them. The signs help us to pronounce them exactly, but have no their own pronounced values. We also invent peculiar phonetic signs to mark the English pronunciations which are hard to be represented by using the existing international phonetic signs.
