Theory of globe-type permeability structure

PURPOSE: A principle of a spherical water permeable structure is provided to solve the problems of degradation of water permeability due to the clogging of porosities and non-slippery property, the difficulty in passage due to the splash of rain water and the reduction of soundproof performance and heat insulating performance by a porous layer. CONSTITUTION: An outermost layer of an asphalt concrete water permeable pavement is formed of a spherical water permeable structure. Herein, such pulverized wastes as ceramic waste is used as an aggregate. The wastes are pulverized by a first pulverizer and secondly pulverized by agitating the firstly pulverized aggregate with ceramic balls(having the same particular size as the firstly pulverized particles). By polishing the aggregates, the angle of the particles is smoothened to be similar to a sphere. The pulverized waste is preferably formed in a sphere by rounding. The aggregate is mixed with thermosetting synthetic resin as a binder and adhered with the spherical aggregate by the contact point of the spherical aggregate. Thereby, a spherical water permeable structure having a high porosity is produced.
