PURPOSE: A system and method for chasing movement of plural objects using a shape model based on a color of time is provided to maximize a characteristic of chase of the system by chasing the objects, in which overlap occurs, continuously by chasing stably even if objects overlap perfectly or disappear out of sight because color information of time on which weighted value of time is put are applied to chase of movement of plural objects corresponding to time of intermediate interval. CONSTITUTION: A system for chasing movement of plural objects using shape model based on color of time and method for control includes an object area separating part(3) which separates man's area from image signals photographed by a camera(1); an object chasing part(4) which chases an object continuously on an object area separated by the object area separating part(3); a microcomputer(5) which executes chase of plural objects by analyzing and deciding object chasing data inputted from the object chasing part(4) and controls functions of the chasing system generally; and a chase result storing part(7) which stores data about information of chased object according to a controlling signal of storing chase result of the microcomputer(5).
