PROTOCOL FOR TRANSMITTING SYNCHRONOUS DATA CROSSING HIGH VOLTAGE INTERFACE

PURPOSE: A protocol for transmitting synchronous data crossing a high voltage interface is provided to remove a frame synchronous signal and alternating current(AC) coupling capacitors, by supplying data passing through the high voltage interface and serial input/output controlling words. CONSTITUTION: A synchronous data protocol for synchronizing timing between a master device and a coder-decoder(CODEC) comprises a preamble inserting module and a synchronous preamble detecting module. The preamble inserting module of a master timing device inserts preamble code words into selected frames of a data stream, to transmit the preamble code words to the CODEC. The synchronous preamble detecting module of the CODEC detects the preamble code words of the data stream.
