MULTI-SESSION DISK INCLUDING DVD APPLICATION SESSION AND RECORDING AND/OR REPRODUCING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A multi-session disk including a DVD application session and a recording and/or reproducing apparatus and a method of the same are provided for reproducing an audio information as well as a DVD application program in an audio CD player which supports a multi-session CD. CONSTITUTION: A read-in region(22) and a read-out region(24) are recorded by data in a CD-ROM standard. A logic region of a user region(23) is recorded by a DVD application(26) based on a file system such as a UDF file system or a UDF bridge bridge format. The UDF bridge format is an ISO(International Standard Organization) 9660 format and a UDF which are generally used in a common CD-ROM. The ISO format is needed so that the CD-ROM drive mounted in the computer reads a disk.
