PURPOSE: Method for preparation of a sweet drink made from fermented flesh of old pumpkin is provided, which maintains a shape of pumpkin and has a unique flavor of pumpkin. CONSTITUTION: The making method of a sweet drink using a pumpkin comprises the following steps: (i) peeling the old pumpkin and cutting to proper sizes; (iii) fermenting the flesh of the pumpkin mixed with grains of boiled rice and malt for 4-5hours with warm heat; and then (iv) boiling the fermented mixture at a high temperature. The pumpkin can be preserved in enzyme like sugar for fermentation.
