PURPOSE: A system and a method for trading secondhand cellular phones through the internet are provided so that a member can obtain a secondhand cellular phone objectively by making a deal achieved directly between a purchaser and a seller. CONSTITUTION: A web server(16), which manages secondhand cellular phone trade on the internet, registers each of the sellers and purchasers as a member in a member information DB(10). The web server(16) stores information relevant to secondhand cellular phones, registered by the sellers, in a secondhand cellular phone information DB(12) so that the purchasers can search. If secondhand cellular phone transaction information is inputted from a purchaser computer(22), the web server(16) searches corresponding secondhand cellular phones in the secondhand cellular phone information DB(12) and transmits a suitable secondhand cellular phone information on the web browser of the purchaser computer(22).
