THE METHOD FOR EXTRACTING NOVEL METAL ELEMENT OF THE WASTE CATAIYST FOR THE WASTE GAS PURIFIER IN AUTOMOBILE USING SCRAPPED COPPER SLAG

Although the waste catalyst for exhaust gas purification contains a large amount of precious metal elements such as gold, silver, and platinum group elements, which are catalysts for removing environmentally harmful elements of automobile exhaust gas, almost all of them have no technology to effectively extract them in Korea. It was simply discarded or exported to a foreign country.;Therefore, in the present invention, the composition of the waste copper (Cu) slag generated during the copper smelting process is very preferred as a solvent component to be added when melting the exhaust catalyst for exhaust gas purification to obtain precious metal elements by using the electrolytic dissolution method. In view of this, it is intended to replace the conventional expensive slag quicklime or silicon dioxide.
