THE SUPER OVULATION OF A KOREAN NATIVE CATTLE(HAN WOO)

PURPOSE: A multi-ovulation method of Korean cow is provided for keeping the follicle stimulating hormone in the body of Korean cow for 45 hours, by diluting follicle stimulating hormone with a physiological salt solution and injecting the diluted follicle stimulating hormone dissolved in polyethylene glycol(PEG). CONSTITUTION: Follicle stimulating hormone is diluted with 1-1.5ml of the physiological salt solution. The diluted follicle stimulating hormone is dissolved in 9ml of 25-35% polyethylene glycol(PEG). The solvent is selected from carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC) of 1500-3000cps, polyvinyl pyrrolidone(PVP) of 40,000 M.W. or polyethylene glycol of 8,000 M.W. The prepared mixture is injected into a scapular part. Thereby, the number of normal fertilized eggs is increased from 4.2 per Korean cow to 6.7 per Korean cow.
