MAINTENANCE METHOD OF CROSS-CONNECTION USING GROUP OBJECT CLASS ON 10GBPS SDH EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: A method of maintaining consistency of objects for cross connection by grouping on a 10GBPS synchronous digital hierarchy communications system is provided to maintain the consistency of cross-connection of signal groups by employing group objects. CONSTITUTION: In an algorithm of forming objects for cross connection in link with signal connection within a management database, in step (31), an initialization occurs. In step (32), a TMN manager request a connection. In step (33), the request is checked. In step (34), if verified, the requested signal group is accessed. In step (35), the content requested is checked. In step (41), if the content can be accessed, the signal group object is searched. In step (42), the attribute of the object content is checked. In step (43), if the content is normal, a downward request message is formed. In step (44), the request message is sent to an MCPS.
