PURPOSE: A method for producing a linerless cylinder block is provided to produce the cylinder block having abrasion resistance through low pressure casting. CONSTITUTION: By adding foaming agent to nickel and generating bubbles, a porous foaming body having a pore ratio for 70-95% is generated. Titanium powder is added to the nickel foaming body. Herein, weight of the titanium is 3-35wt% of entire weight. The nickel foaming body with the titanium powder is heated at a temperature of 150deg.C before being inserted to a mold. Therefore, moisture on a surface of the nickel foaming body is eliminated. The nickel foaming body is inserted to the mold for injecting aluminum alloy molten metal to the mold without pressure. Then, a cast cylinder block is heated for a temperature of 500-550deg.C. Titan aluminum metallic composition, aluminum oxide, and nickel-aluminum metallic composition are formed on an inner wall contacted with a piston ring. Thus, abrasion resistance is generated without using a liner.
