SUBSTANCE: method includes polygraphic registration of brain biopotentials; determination of latent periods, total duration of sleep and its stages, quantity and average duration of segments of each sleep stage, duration of maximum segments of each stage, quantity of medium segments of each stage; calculation of diagnosis coefficient on the basis of obtained values by formula given in the invention description. If value of diagnosis coefficient exceeds 6, disturbance of nocturnal sleep is diagnosed.
