FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves dissecting soft tissues on the 6-8 cm long interval in IV and V rib projection spreading from exterior boundary of the broadest muscle of the back forwards. Subperiosteal resection of underlying IV or V rib is carried out on the 10 cm long interval. Posterior folds of periosteum and parietal pleura are cut and soft tissue are separated using small wound dilator unit. EFFECT: reduced risk and frequency of traumatic complications.
