FIELD: mining and construction industry. SUBSTANCE: method can be used in development of hand-held percussive-action dynamically-equalized mechanisms or mounted-type percussive-action mechanisms. According to method, percussive-action mechanism has body, movable striker mass, and coaxially installed bush, valve, and rod. Introduced into mechanism is additional mass of accumulator equalizers. This additional mass, when movable striker mass accelerates, allows for creation of dynamic equilibrium between momentum of movable striker mass which is equal to its impulse of force and momentum of total additional mass of accumulator equalizers having oppositely directed motion under action of impulse of force created at discharge of accumulator. Additional mass can be made in the form of several spring-type hydraulic accumulator with piston masses. Axes of these pistons are located in parallel and equidistantly with respect to movable striker mass. Application of aforesaid method allows for excluding vibration occurred in operation of percussive-action machinery and equipment. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
