FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: method includes diagnosing non-cemented sedimentary involving physico-chemical rock-analyzing techniques and examining granulometric rock composition employing standard mesh analysis with levigation of pelite fraction. Shape, dimensions, and surface of grains are examined microscopically. To the first portion of levigation water, one to two tea-spoonfuls of a surfactant (e.g. domestic detergent) are added. Suspended inclusions are magnetically separated into fractions, recombined, and weighed. They are then placed into battery tumbler, treated with hydrochloric acid, again levigated, dried to constant weight, and mesh-separated into fractions, which are examined microscopically as above. EFFECT: reduced wear of equipment and locking and regulating devices, increased throughput capacity of pipelines and efficiency of integrated gas-treatment installation equipment, and reduced consumption of reagents in gas drying and treatment operations.
