Device for measuring the temperature of a rotating godets housing of a godet unit of a spinning machine for the production of synthetic threads

To measure the temp. of an induction heated component in a spinner for synthetic filaments, and especially a godet, a secondary heating coil (5b) is after the heated godet (5) which is heated by a current flow through a primary coil (15). The temp. of the godet (5) is controlled by connecting the primary coil (15) to the current supply (23) at intervals. The godet (5) temp. is registered by a sensor (17) during the gaps between connection to the current supply (23). Also claimed is an appts. with a simple electrical conductor as the sensor (17). The assembly has an evaluation and control unit (25), which receives the sensor (17) signals, to operate a controlled switch (21) linking the current supply (23) to the primary coil (15).
