Diagnostic for the detection of autoimmune hepatitis

A diagnostic for the detection of autoimmune hepatitis is described, with which antibodies against antigens can be detected in the blood serum of a patient, which antigens have the amino acid sequence corresponding to SEQ ID No. 1 or SEQ ID No. 2 or part of the sequence listing and enter into an immune reaction with SLA autoantibodies. In addition, the SLA antigens and the cDNAs coding for these antigens and a method for the detection of SLA antigens by means of an immunoassay are described.
