The drier/protective mat has three-layers, e.g. of cork (3), plastic (1) and foam (2) layers. The foam is slip-proof, e.g. like carpet underlay. The cork acts as a moisture absorber. The smooth, holed plastic provides a sliding surface, can be easily washed so that cork conditioned by the holes does not affect moisture absorption.
