Computer units synchronisation method for motor vehicle engineering, such as electromechanical braking systems

A method of synchronising bus-interconnected computer units (121,122,123,124) involving a first master unit (11) sending a first time-signal (T1) cyclically on a data line (1,2) of the bus system (1,2). This is followed by a second time signal (T2) sent cyclically from a second master unit (21) on the data line. The second signal (T2) is formed in a predetermined phase-relationship to the first signal (T1). The computer units to be synchronised each have a timebase (T) residing in a given phase relationship relative to the time signals (T1,T2). These receive the time signals and test the signals concurrence with the actual time base (T).
