Assembly to feed mash, to clarifying tank, has a buffer vessel (22) between the main pipe (12) and the part-flows (6). All the part-flows operate with the same flow resistance, using part-flow pipes (6) of the same diameter and length and preferably identical. The feed openings (19) are at the under side of the clarifying tank (2), with at least two feed openings (19) for the mash, on a theoretical circular line. The center of the circle lies on the center axis (13) of the clarifying tank (2). The buffer vessel (22) is centered on the center axis (13) of the clarifying tank (2), and has a cross section with circular symmetry. The buffer vessel (22) has a tubular passage, with a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the main shaft of the clarifying tank (2) drive (3). The buffer vessel (2) and a wort collection vessel (21) are contained in a two-chamber vessel (7). The lower chamber (9) to hold the mash and the upper chamber (8) to hold the wort are separated by a pressure-tight dividing wall (10), which can be a circular ring pitched at an angle of 1-30 deg to the horizontal. Both chambers (8,9) have the same inner and/or outer diameter.
