Combined-type current and voltage-transformer for outdoor switch gear

A combined current- and voltage-transformer includes a voltage transformer (3) arranged in an insulation housing (3) extending between earth (ground) potential and high-voltage (HV) potential, the current transformer (9) being arranged on the HV- side end of the insulation housing. The current transformer (9) is joined by means of an optical- fibre conductor (11) to a transformer evaluating device (8), where the optical-fibre conductor (11) extends outside of the insulation housing (4), within an insulator body (21) equipped with sheds or shields (12,13), and is supported directly or indirectly by the insulation housing (4).
