Since it was discovered that the classic cooling fluids can have a destructive effect on the atmosphere new types of fluids, including carbon dioxide, were introduced. The pipes (10), carrying the substance are usually highly permeable especially regarding carbon dioxide. The new design of a flexible pipe is made of at least two layers, an elastic outer layer (12) and an inner layer (18) coated with scales of metal or a synthetic material (26), preventing the molecules of the carbon dioxide from escaping. More layers can be added, in particular a reinforcing layer (24).
