The asparagus elevation cultivation device, pulled by a tractor and working with two rotating cutting heads is equipped with depth guide rolls, which normally fail to meet the requirements at the start of a row. An adjustment mechanism comprising a hydraulically operated cylinder is positioned between the cultivation device and a control lever. Hydraulic throttles integrated into the supply duct cause the device to change its position specifically in order to meet the requirements at the beginning of a row, and to return to the normal position afterwards.
