Controlling a supersonic flying body to increase efficiency to be achieved while ensuring that drag is not increased, especially during low flight

The method involves influencing the flying characteristics of the flying body by influencing the bow shock wave partly enveloping the flying body during supersonic flight. The bow shock wave is spread away from and/or brought closer to the flying body by partial and at least local deformation of the surface of the flying body. An Independent claim is also included for a supersonic flying body.
