The method involves laying electric or optic conductors (14) by using a pulley on suspensions (12) of pylons. Each conductor is provided with a turn-prevention arrangement (20) which is connected firmly with the conductor. The turn-prevention arrangement fastened to the conductor assumes a preferred position with respect to its longitudinal extend, and secures it through its weight against counteractive forces during the movement of the conductor.
