The ice cream cone packing is encased in a sleeve-type bag. The cone (10) is surrounded for at least part of its length by a sleeve (13) passing all the way round it. The sleeve is deformable, at least in sectors, in the circumferential direction of the cone. The sleeve may encase the upper part of the wafer cone and the projecting ice cream.
