The priming of a syringe with radioactive substance and measurement of radioactivity are performed simultaneously using a radioactivity meter. The radioactive substance supply container such as flask is also provided in the radioactivity meter and is completely shielded. The flask is placed into a lead of pot which completely shields the radioactivity. A syringe with cannula is placed in a measurement rack and is placed into the activity meter. The lead pot has a lid with a radial opening for the cannula through which the syringe is primed with the radioactive substance.
