PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive waste radioactivity measuring method and a radioactive waste radioactivity measuring device capable of ensuring accurate quantization even if a radioactivity concentration distribution is present in a waste container.;SOLUTION: A radioactive waste radioactivity measuring method comprises: a radiation energy spectrum analysis procedure of simulating a measurement of energy spectrum of radiations leaking from within a storage container outside of the storage container and analyzing the radiation energy spectrum in a state of storing radioactive waste in the storage container; a radiation energy spectrum measuring procedure; a radiation energy spectrum search procedure of comparing a radiation energy spectrum analysis result with a radiation energy spectrum measuring result while referring to the radiation energy spectrum analysis result, repeating a search of the radiation energy spectrum analysis result on the basis of a difference, and determining the radiation energy spectrum analysis result small in the difference from the radiation energy spectrum measuring resu and a radioactivity estimation procedure of estimating a radiation dose or a radioactivity concentration on the basis of the determined radiation energy spectrum analysis result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
