The solar collector has a housing (1) with a water-carrying pipe line (7), an absorbing surface and a transparent cover. The housing is connected to a windowpane consisting of a pane frame (12) and a glass panel (2). The housing has an outward facing bead (5) in contact with the inner side of the pane. Spring elements (16) in the free vol. between the frame and housing side wall are supported on the frame and bias the bead against the outer frame stop (14).
