X-ray image recording for examination of rhythmically moving vessel or organ

The method involves recording several digital X-ray images during a slow movement of an X-ray image recording system along an orbit of an X-ray arrangement. The image recording is triggered during the system movement by a vessel- or organ movement or an organ movement causing the vessel movement, and a three-dimensional image is reconstructed after the image recording, based on the single images. The movement of the X-ray image recording system results preferably with an angular speed smaller than 2 degrees per second, especially with 0.5 degrees per second, and the movement speed of the X-ray image recording system is chosen in dependence of the frequency of the vessel- or organ movement.
